I am a first generation college student born and raised in the Midwest. I completed my degree with an emphasis on science and pre-med courses, and furthered my education by attending medical school. I found out early on that I enjoy learning and teaching. I believe teaching is an art that one can use to help students construct anything, simply by breaking down the barriers to their learning. I want to be to be able to do that for you. At a very early age I already knew I had a passion for teaching, I have had the privilege to tutor a wide variety of subjects, from simple reading and writing to complex medical anatomy and pathology. I use a wide variety of resources to help my students succeed. Because I have been teaching for almost ten years, I have had the opportunity to shape the minds of future students, fostering in them amazing academic skills--skills that they can use in any situation, or with any given task at hand. My teaching style adapts to the learner; I assist my students by helping them gain the potential to become successful and efficient learners. As a tutor, I bring my knowledge of basic reading/writing and math, but also my deep knowledge of the sciences, from biology to medical school preparation. I hope that I can serve as a guide for you, and not only help you learn and succeed but also give you the valuable tools needed to prosper anywhere in any situation.
