I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2014 with a Bachelor's in Art and a minor in Sociology. A year later I received my certification in teaching English as a second language through TEFLExpress.
Experience
Before graduating from the University of Minnesota, I spend several years in the art department tutoring students in silver process photography. After I received my degree, I became a literacy tutor through the Minnesota Reading Corps. I've been trained in various interventions that range from high modeling techniques to simple repetition of text and comprehension strategies.
